Room 3 - L’Acquario

This room is beautiful and bright, has a private bathroom, and is furnished with a writing desk and queen sized bed. The room can also become a double room with two single beds. It is located on the first floor above ground level, and is accessible through the terrace on the Western wing. In the past it used to be the tool storage space, thus it was originally only accessible through the inside of the court. Throughout our recent restoration, the original access has been closed with a large glass window, thus creating the “fishtank” effect.

After the initial hours of the morning, when the large window is touched with the first light of dawn, the room is flooded all day by a wonderful indirect light, which makes the space ideal for reading or writing. For those needing darker light in order to rest well, the curtains are well darkened.

The Western terrace, shared with Room 4, offers an exceptional view on the citrus groves, behind which there are spectacular sunsets.

Each room has heating and air conditioning. There is no television. Internet connection is available in WiFi hotspots, in the common areas.

The structure has a large living area in which one can relax by reading, listening to music, or by simply admiring the scenery through the large glass window, facing east.

There is also access to a small kitchen in the owner’s residence, which can be used to prepare food, or warm up baby food.
